As the end of the year is upon is, the season of giving is in full force. Now is the time to open your hearts and open your Swag Bucks wallet, and lend a helping hand to those in need. From now and until the end of the year we have 8 charities that are accepting your donations, and would appreciate anything you can give.
As we announced yesterday, we are now giving you the opportunity to donate your Swag Bucks to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund. The tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut has touched us all. While the events that transpired raise many questions that may never be answered, one that can be answered today is how to help those affected.
The United Way of Western Connecticut is committed to providing support and resources where and when they become identified and needed. As people from our area and beyond respond to this heartbreaking tragedy, they are turning to United Way looking for ways to help. In response, United Way of Western Connecticut in partnership with Newtown Savings Bank has created the “Sandy Hook School Support Fund” that will be able to provide support services to the families and community that have been affected.
Donate to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund now by clicking here.
Let’s all come together and make an effort to help those in need. Donate now, and remember that every buck counts.
