Happy Monday! It’s a special day in Swag Nation (well, every day is special really) but on THIS day, a certain number of years ago – I was born. Yes – today is my birthday!
Music has always been a huge part of my life, whether I’m singing a song in the car, rocking out on the guitar or just making up the words to songs I don’t quite know. And this got me thinking – what was the #1 song on the US charts when I was born?
Thanks to the Internet (heard of it?) I was able to find the answer. And how fitting, that while this was the song on my birthday, it’s exactly how I’m spending my day today!
We’ve all sung this one before, so sing it with me all day!
Music Monday Trivia Question: What unique feat was accomplished with this song reaching #1?
Congrats to Roustie, A2Woman and Waylanderz for correctly answering that “9 to 5″ was not only #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, it was also #1 on the US country charts! Way to go Dolly!
Music Monday Discussion Question: What was the #1 song on the US charts the day YOU were born?!
Thanks for your birthday wishes and all of your great comments – wasn’t that fun?!? Check your ledger to see if you were one of the 3 lucky winners of 33 SBs!
