Our 6th Birthday is tomorrow!! It will surely be an exciting day, with our 6th Birthday Team Challenge and Swag Bucks galore! Today, for Music Monday we celebrate the 38th anniversary of a great milestone in music history.
On this day in 1976, The Eagles ‘Greatest Hits’ became the first album to be certified platinum by the R.I.A.A. Quite an accomplishment as this meant they sold 1 million copies of the album! AND, 23 years later, it became the all-time best selling album in the United States when it was certified as 26x Multi Platinum!
So as you get ready for tomorrow’s festivities, I invite you to relax with a ”Peaceful Easy Feeling” today:
Music Monday Trivia: This song was featured in a movie that features a cab driver who really loves The Eagles and a passenger who can’t stand them. Can you name the movie?
Congrats to JayneKlausSmith, tresbien726 and Kajola for correctly answering The Big Lebowski!
Music Monday Discussion: When you just need to mellow out and relax, what is your favorite album to put on?
Thanks for all of your great comments! Check your ledger to see if you were a random winner of 25 SBs!
