Exactly 45 years ago today, Otis Redding’s “Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay” went gold in the United States. This song was first recorded in 1967, and tragically, just a few days later Otis Redding passed away in a plane crash. Redding’s legacy lives on, however, as the song grew to an immensely popular success. Let’s take a listen today as we remember the musician whose songs and lyrics will live on forever.
