It’s Pro Bowl Time

Later today the NFL holds its version of the All-Star game, the Pro Bowl, in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Pro Bowl is now an appetizer to the Super Bowl next week, and it tends to be a light hitting shootout of a game, which should make for some entertaining football. To get you primed, here are highlights from last year’s game:

Between this and the NHL All-Star Game, you have plenty of high octane sports action today…

As you get ready for to watch today’s Conference Championship games, TSG thought you might like to know who the Swag Nation picked to go to the Big Game. In the NFC a whopping majority seem to feel that it’s the Green Bay Packers’ game to lose. The AFC race seemed to be a harder […]

Posted by on Sun, January 16th, 2011 at 11:00 am

OK, so the matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and the Green Bay Packers turned out to be a blowout victory for the Pack, but in my mind this was the play of the game – Pro Bowler Eric Weems’ 102-yard kickoff return: Congratulations to the Packers and good luck to the teams playing today – […]

In lieu of TSG’s usual Sunday NFL Highlight, here’s a really cool video of a heavily decorated home’s Christmas lights dancing to the music that signals the start of Football Sunday! Normally I share a different NFL highlight with you each week, but this time I wanted to show you this trick play, which is apparently 100% legal. I doubt an NFL defense would fall for this one… TSG

TSG here with another great gridiron moment as you settle in to catch all of today’s NFL action. Today, we look at the Super Bowl run that sealed Washington Redskin John Riggin’s place in NFL history and broke the hearts of many a Dolphin’s Fan: Riggo doesn’t like being tackled. TSG

Great NFL HIghlights

TSG back with another great moment from NFL history. The Buffalo Bills of the early 90’s are best known today for making and losing three straight Super Bowls. While Jim Kelly, Marv Levy & Co. didn’t win the big one, they were an exceptional team that overcame some very big deficits to get as far […]

Before Music City had the Tennessee Titans, H-Town had the Houston Oilers. Among their all-time greats was running back Earl Campbell – Swaggernaut LarryH sent me this clip of The Tyler Rose breaking off an 81-yard touchdown run against the Miami Dolphins back on November 20th, 1978: If you’ve got an all-time classic NFL moment […]
