Activity from recycling

Caring for the environment has always been a part of Swagbucks’ core values – that’s why trading in your stuff for Swag Bucks was created – so you would have a safe and environmentally responsible way to get rid of old cellphones, books and video games while earning Swag Bucks for yourself.
While we’re as committed as ever to that cause, we have effectively discontinued our cell phone trade-in program. Even though we’re not offering this service anymore, you can still trade your used video games and books for Swag Bucks here.
Thanks to everyone who has participated in our phone trade-in program over the years – you’ve not only earned yourself Swag Bucks, but some good Karma as well.

Every April 22nd, we band together for Earth Day and try a little harder to remember to recycle that bottle, turn off the lights (or at least turn them down low after locking them doors) and take the stairs; after all, we only have one planet. Everyone here at Swag Central is Eco-conscious too. That’s […]

If you’re in the Columbus, OH area this weekend, check out the Rock on the Range Festival at Crew Stadium, where you can catch acts like Slash, Limp Bizkit and Theory of a Deadman. Also, members of Team Swag Bucks will be there collecting old phones as part of our phone recycling program! We’ll have […]

Yesterday as part of the Earth Day proceedings TSG ran a poll to determine what Swaggernaut Earth Day Tip you guys liked best. Here are the results: Apparently you guys are all about drinking from re-usable water bottles, and I don’t blame you – it’s an easy way to keep water around (good for your […]

When TSG talks about recycling, you most likely think about things you recycle – newspaper, aluminum cans, plastic bottles and cell phones. But you might now necessarily think of things that you buy. Next time you go shopping for supplies, check for things made from recycled materials. Most paper products can be made of recycled […]

TSG is all over Earth Day – celebrating an eco-friendly way of life and giving back to the planet that’s kind enough to house us is pretty cool. Of course, everyone at Swag Central believes in reducing our carbon footprint – that’s why we carry so many eco-friendly products in the Swag Store. In case […]

I’m sure you Swaggernauts will remember TSG talking about recycling your phone for Swag Bucks, right? Here’s the skinny: All through April you have two big motivators to do the right thing for your planet and your Swag Bucks account. 1) Earn a bonus of 50% above your quoted redemption value on our Go Green […]

As part of Green Day (and Green Month), TSG wanted to remind you of our cell phone recycling program. So many of us are after the next cool phone, so why let your old phone just collect dust when you can do something good for the environment (and your Swag Bucks stash)? Proof positive that […]
