A Few Hands of Blackjack with apk1987 for 100 SB

Posted by on Wed, March 12th, 2014 at 6:00 am

Happy Wednesday, Swag Nation!

I hope you guys are ready for a great Swaggernaut suggested Game Challenge. apk1987 is our host today and they’ve got us playing a Swag Nation favorite. Not only that, but I really hope they show up and hang out with us because they have a really cool interesting fact it’d be great to learn more about. You can host an upcoming Game Challenge just like apk1987 did just by filling out the same information you see they did and emailing it to games@swagbucks.com. You’ll get 100 Swag Bucks when your challenge is selected!

Now, let’s see what apk1987 has us playing today!

  • Swag Name: apk1987

  • Location: Ford City, PA

  • Length of SB Membership: 2 weeks

  • Favorite Way to Earn: Games

  • Challenge Game: Regate 21

  • Challenge Score: 1,000 100

  • Challenge Tip: Try to build your piles to 11, and try not to break up 11s if you can help it. If you can’t get to 11, try to make four different numbers – that way, you have more shots at making 21. If you must bust a pile, 20s are the best to bust (since there’s only one way to get to 21 from there). Finally, remember that it’s all down to luck.

  • Optional Something Fun About Me: I’m a former Wheel of Fortune contestant.

C’mon, apk1987! You can’t just leave it at that! What’d you win!? How was it!? You good at word games? Inquiring minds wanna know!

So what’s today’s challenge? Get a score equal to or higher than 100 in Regate 21, take a screenshot, and post a link in the comments for this blog post. Alternatively, you can take a screenshot of a tournament entry from today with any score on any game. For each of these correctly filled out posts you make, you will have one entry in a raffle to win 100 Swag Bucks. You may enter as many times as you like with new screenshots showing different scores. You may wish to protect your efforts by adding your Swag Name to it in a paint program. If you need an image hosting service, I recommend tinypic.com because it’s quick and easy. Three winners will be selected at random from all of today’s entries and announced in this blog post and on Twitter on Thursday.

You can also participate via Twitter by tweeting your screenshot @Swagbucks, along with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames. You may place each entry both on Twitter and in the comments, but if you win from an entry placed on Twitter, you will win an additional 100 Swag Bucks.

Bonuses

If your entry shows you were able to beat apk1987’s actual challenge score of 1,000 or a score in any of today’s Regate 21 tournaments or you include a comment about what game show you would most like to be on if any (or what game show you would least like to be on) and why and you are one of today’s lucky winners, you will receive an additional 25 Swag Bucks.

Good luck and have fun!

Update: This week’s winners are generalB1B, fromsilentsky, & jnbrooks87  -Congratulations!  New Challenge next week!

Yeah… Who Wants to Be a Millionaire looks like a solid choice, but while I feel like I often know the answer, watching at home, I fear that I’d draw a blank when put on the spot or get questions that’d be tougher for me. Great call on Legends of the Hidden Temple! :)   I think anyone would love to be on Cash Cab. That just looks like a lot of fun whether you win or not. Big thank you to apk1987 for stopping by and sharing your Wheel experience. I hooked you up with 10 extra Swag Bucks for taking the time to share your story.

Don’t forget: You can still earn yourself 100 swag Bucks by submitting a  game challenge of your own!
