I promised myself this morning that I would try to make every post I wrote musically themed – after all, this IS Music Monday, and with the last three posts being musically themed, I thought I had it made in the shade – only a few more to go. But how would I tie in a console that plays NES, SNES and Sega Genesis games with music? Simple – 8-Bit Music! Did you know that there’s an entire musical movement based around the 8-bit sound used to create the legendary sound tracks of Super Mario Brothers, Kid Icarus and Legend of Zelda? Here’s a taste of some 8-Bit music deliciousness – you might recognize some of these Chip-Hop classics – there is one curse word at the top, which is bleeped, just so you know:
