Now that you’ve got your savings, here are some tips for keeping cool on a hot Summer day:

-Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing

-Cotton clothing keeps you cooler than other synthetic fabrics

-Fill a spray bottle with water and keep it in the refrigerator for a quick refreshing spray to your face after being outdoors

-Store lotions or cosmetic toners in the refrigerator to use on hot, overtired feet.

-While indoors, keep your blinds closed

-Put a small pillow in the freezer an hour or two before you go to bed – Put a few plastic shopping bags over it to keep ice from forming on the fabric

-Run cold water over your wrists for 10 seconds on each hand – This will reduce your temperature for roughly an hour
