Two Days of Mahjong, Two Shots at 200 Swag Bucks, Infinite Shots at 100

Posted by on Sat, May 18th, 2013 at 8:00 am

Happy Weekend, Swag Nation!

Oh, Weekend…  Sweet Weekend…  How I’ve missed you and your glorious opportunities to win Swag Bucks for playing fun games. It’s been much too long since Wednesday’s fiery fun. If you’re a big gamer on Swagbucks.com, you might have noticed a new addition in the last couple weeks… You can now see your final score much easier in Free Play! No more mad rushes and finger acrobatics to capture your screenshots in the middle of a game! We can also put a little more challenge back into the game challenge and you’re gonna help!

This weekend, I will be demonstrating what each Weekend Game Challenge should look like, but starting next Saturday, the Weekend Game Challenge will primarily be featuring challenges you send in. In the past, we’ve had Swaggernaut suggested game challenges, but they only included the game they were on. Going forward, both the game and the challenge score will be set by the featured Swagbucks gamer and that user will receive 100 Swag Bucks for their submission.

Below is an example of all the info you need to submit a Game Challenge. You will see that the last line is optional, but I encourage you to fill it out because it’s always nice to get to know you better and if there’s a quick way to my heart, it’s humoring me in all the optional fun we have in the challenges.

  • Swag Name: SBJustin
  • Location: Los Angeles, CA
  • Length of SB Membership: 3 Years
  • Favorite Way to Earn: Games
  • Challenge Game: Mahjong Dimensions
  • Challenge Score: 17,525
  • Challenge Tip: Move at a hurried pace, but try to relax and look for matches that are visible rather than a tile you have in mind.
  • Optional Something Fun About Me: I have a dog named Lucas and he’s trained to cheer with the Kings score.

Fill that out with your own information, own challenge and a screenshot of the score, email it to games@swagbucks.com and you could be the next featured swagbucks gamer, next Weekend Game Challenge setter, and the winner of 100 Swag Bucks.

What makes a good Challenge Game? One you like, but we haven’t done in a while. What makes a good Challenge Score? One that is challenging, but the average person could work at  and accomplish in a sitting. If the Challenge Score is set too high, it will either be edited or not be selected. (To make it as easy as possible, just copy and paste the below into your email with the info filled in)

  • Swag Name:
  • Location:
  • Length of SB Membership:
  • Favorite Way to Earn:
  • Challenge Game:
  • Challenge Score:
  • Challenge Tip:
  • Optional Something Fun About Me:

So what’s this Weekend’s Game Challenge? Get a score of 17,525 or higher in Mahjong Dimensions and post a link to a screenshot of your challenge-meeting score in the comments for this blog post.

Alternatively, you can take a screenshot of your tournament entry with any score. For each of these correctly filled out posts, you will have one entry in a raffle to win 200 Swag Bucks. You may enter as many times as you like with new screenshots of different challenge-meeting scores. One winner will be selected at random from each day of entries and announced in this blog post and on Twitter on Monday. That means, if you enter on Saturday, you can come back Sunday to enter again and be part of a new raffle. If you need an image hosting service, I recommend tinypic.com. The link you want is the URL.

You can also participate via Twitter by tweeting your screenshot @Swagbucks along with your Swag Name and the hashtag #sbgames. You may place each entry both on Twitter and in the comments, but if you win from an entry placed on Twitter, you will win an additional 100 Swag Bucks.

If you are one of this weekend’s lucky winners and your entry is showing your score in one of this weekend’s Mahjong Dimensions tournaments, you will win an additional 25 Swag Bucks.

We’ll be accepting your game challenge submissions 24/7 from here on out so you have all week to submit your game challenge idea to possibly get selected for next weekend, but why not submit your idea today!? I can’t wait to read them!

Good luck. Have fun.  Have a great weekend!

And the winners of TTPTP are…

Posted by on Wed, January 9th, 2013 at 12:00 pm
In yesterday’s TTPTP I asked you to play Madlibs and fill in the parentheses with appropriate, yet creative, words.
