Today’s question comes from a Swaggernaut looking for tips for a successful Thanksgiving:
Hosting a dinner at your house can be very stressful, not to mention a Thanksgiving dinner. There’s a lot of pressure that comes with hosting Thanksgiving, because everyone has been prepping for the holiday and holding their expectations high for all of the yummy food. But, just thinking about the meaning of this holiday can help take the load off. This day is all about giving thanks and being thankful for the people and things in your life. It’s not about having a perfectly prepared meal or a spotless home, and it’s important to keep reminding yourself of this so as to not get overwhelmed. Here are some tips I have devised to help have a relaxing and successful Thanksgiving.
I hope these tips help you run your first Thanksgiving smoothly. To our fellow Swaggernauts, if you have any tips for hosting a Thanksgiving feast, leave them in the comments section of this post!
