Music Monday – Rock Around The Clock

Exactly 58 years ago today, Bill Haley’s “Rock Around The Clock” entered the UK chart for the first time, eventually becoming the UK’s biggest-selling single of the 50s.  I remember this song well, because it was the song we used for our tap dance at the end of year recital.  My girlfriends and I would get together at one of our houses, blast the song on the record player and practice the dance for hours.  I had those moves down pat.  In fact, I probably remember some of it now!  Feel free to dance away as you listen to this classic!
