Rewarding Moments: Lorri
Lorri (Swag Name: Thomas9550) is from Coloma, MI and has been a Swagbucks member since June 2014. Marie had tried a couple of websites similar to Swagbucks but grew to love earning SB! When she first started earning, she would use her SB to purchase gifts for her family and gift cards for her self. In 2019, Lorri was diagnosed with breast cancer and used Swagbucks as a way to help keep her mind motivated during the course of her treatment.
In 2019 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and it has been quite a roller coaster ride. Between treatments and surgeries I didn’t have a lot of time or energy to do the things I wanted to do to feel good about myself. No matter what I was going through, I told myself “I just have to get my first bonus”… (but everyone knows you can’t just get one). Swagbucks kept me motivated and distracted. As I earned more I decided to start purchasing from small local businesses. Some of my friends are doing home sales jobs for beauty products, kitchen gadgets and homemade crafts so I give them business and I get to pamper myself. I have done my nails and used beauty products that I would not “normally” buy like bath bombs and facial masques. I love having the opportunity to support the small business’ of my friends, thanks to the huge support from my big business friend, SWAGBUCKS!
Lorri, we have added 1,000 SB to your account! We hope that your SB continues to help you pamper yourself and support small businesses!
