Changes to iSpy
We know how much you love iSpy, we hear you! What’s not to love about combining clues, trivia, and earning SB? iSpy is here to stay in 2020, but we are making some changes that we think will give more people the chance to find iSpy codes and participate on a more frequent basis throughout each month.
Moving forward, iSpy clues will be released once a week, every week. They will not be announced ahead of time. When we started iSpy many years ago, it was meant to be a fast-paced, scavenger hunt type game. We want to bring that excitement back to the game with the element of surprise. Plus, we are increasing the total redemption per clue to 10,000 so that more of you can redeem the code! The codes will range from 3-5 SB each week, and will be released at the top of the hour some time between 9am PST- 4pm PST. If you miss that week’s clue, there’s always next week! iSpy clues are in addition to the daily Swag Codes.
Here’s how to participate in iSpy Search:
- Once a week, on any given weekday (M-F), we will tweet out a clue via @swagbucks on Twitter with a Swag Search link to help you spot the answer (remember to click the Swag Search link, aside from spotting the answer you might just get a search win).
- Once you have the answer to the clue, enter it into the SwagButton, Swag Code box, or Swagbucks Mobile App in ALL CAPS. If you are among the first 10,000 people to enter the code correctly, you will be instantly awarded x-number of SB. The amount of SB amount for the clue will be announced prior to the question.
- Each clue is open to all Swagbucks members in all countries.
- Please do not share the iSpy Search answers on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, or other social media channels. These are wholly different than our daily Swag Codes and are for our users who do the work. Similarly, there will be neither mobile push notifications nor SwagButton notification when the answers are active.
If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below and we will do our best to answer.
