Although I joined Aug 2009 from a referral, I didn’t start doing anything with it until a nephew passed away in 2014 and I found myself in a real cash shortfall, especially for food and pet needs. Along the way I discovered a new community, ways to entertain myself and distract myself from my troubles, and many many ways to turn pennies into dollars.On July 6, 2021, I began having fun writing a lighthearted verse every morning to start my day. It was shortly after healing from double lumpectomy, and when I was beginning 15 straight radiation treatments, I was nervous and needed something to distract me. (I had done five of them back in Oct 2020 but stopped).I have no smart devices, just an old desktop PC on DSL but I still manage to earn $25 to $50 a month, plus lots of fun creating a new “Swag Tag” verses about Swagbucks‘ life, the feeling of community, the activities are fun, and at 85, it helps keep my mind sharp and focused.
